Courses:

The Grand Bear
Leave it to Jack Nicklaus to add to the challenge of the area's golf courses. Even though the course is new in 1999, it is already getting rave reviews. One of the favorite holes is #15, a par 5 that runs along the Biloxi River. The green is protected by natural white beach sand. The course is only accessible by staying at one of the Grand Casino hotels. The course is very exclusive and with 20 minute tee time increments you will only see the beverage cart girl and an occasional marshal during your entire round. They have already hosted a duel between Paul Azinger and Jesper Parnevik for Shell's Wonderful World of Golf.

The Bridges at Casino Magic
Located in Bay St. Louis and this five year old course has already been rated 10th Best in the State by Golf Digest. This Arnold Palmer masterpiece has wetlands that create hazards on every hole. The large, fast greens are slightly slope protected by Scottish-style bunkers. The signature hole is #8, a 283-yard, par 4, which has the Bay of St. Louis sitting in the backdrop. In August 2002, the course has been honored as the 1st resort golf course certified as a Silver
Signature Sanctuary in the world. Pretty special!

The Oaks Golf Club
Home of the Buy.com Tour's Mississippi Gulf Coast Open. With timberlands and natural wetlands, you will be challenged with tight fairways, which average 40 yards in width. Dr. Gil Morgan created this gem and he gave us large greens, but with bunkers galore. #7 is a 173-yard, par 3 with a water hazard between the tee and the green. A sand bunker guards the front of this peanut-shaped green. Tough to find a landing area. Throughout it’s eight year history, The Oaks has received numerous awards and accolades including being honored by Golf Digest as one of the “Top Ten Courses” in Mississippi, voted as the “Best Course on the Coast,” by readers of Coast Magazine and selected as the 2003 “Golf Course of the Year for the Mississippi Gulf Coast,” by the National Golf Course Owners Association. The Oaks has challenged some of the best players in the country as a former host of Nike Tour/Buy.com Tour events in 1999 and 2000 (now the PGA Tour’s Nationwide Series) and having hosted the first stage of the PGA Tour Qualifying School in 2003.

Shell Landing
After it’s opening on November 15, 2000, this new Davis Love III course has been getting rave reviews from the players and the professionals. Expect water hazards in the form of streams and ponds to come into play on half the holes and wetlands on the other half. #6 is the toughest par 4 on the course with a forced carry of 240 yards from the back tees, so double check your egos and pick the correct tee box for your skill level. Your landing area is a wide fairway and then the green is guarded front, left and back by marsh. Aim at the right side of the green and hit a draw. #17 is the signature par 3 with elevated tees hitting to a downhill green with marsh in front. Only 200 yards from the back box!
